A wardrobe is not assembled. It accumulates — season over season, like sediment, until it holds the shape of a life.

The fourth campaign returns to the studio floor: raw calico, chalk lines, and the long silences of fitting. Twenty-two looks, three fabrics, one argument — that restraint is the most expensive material of all.

Seasonal Story — Winter Light

I. The North-Facing Room

Every collection begins in the same room — the one that never receives direct sun. Colour behaves honestly there. What survives the north light survives the season.

II. Thirty Metres of Organza

The silk arrived in one continuous bolt and was never cut against its will. Each look drapes from a single length, pinned rather than seamed, so the fabric keeps its memory of the loom.

III. What the Camera Kept

We photographed at dusk, on the last usable stop of film. The grain is not a flaw. It is the weather of that particular evening, kept.

Manifesto — 2026

We do not design for the photograph. We design for the tenth winter a garment will see.

An Interview Conducted Entirely in the Fitting Room

An Interview Conducted Entirely in the Fitting Room

She answers questions with pins in her mouth, which means every reply arrives in fragments — half a sentence, a chalk line, the rest implied. It is, her studio director says, the only interview format she has ever agreed to.

Asked about trends, she gestures at a rack of muslins. “These will be wrong in five years, and then right again in fifteen. The garment must be patient.” The atelier around her agrees in silence, the way ateliers do.

What emerges over the hour is not a philosophy but a discipline: fewer seams, longer fittings, no decoration that cannot justify its weight. She ends the interview by taking the pins out — and saying nothing at all.

The toiles are dressed before the staff arrive. By the time the light reaches the cutting tables, the day’s argument is already pinned.
